2025: Revenue reduction by 3.5% to RUB 11.9 billion

At the end of 2025, the revenue of the largest car tire manufacturer in Russia, Nizhnekamskshiny, decreased to 11.9 billion rubles. The indicator decreased by 3.5% relative to revenue for 2024. Net profit fell 147 times and amounted to 3.77 million rubles, in 2024 it was 555.06 million rubles. Profit from sales decreased 3.7 times to 195.1 million rubles. The book value of fixed assets increased by 4.1%, to 7.2 billion rubles. Such data in March 2026 are given in the reporting of the tire plant.[1]

History

2022: TATNEFT sold the tire manufacturing business "Kama"

In mid-May 2022, TATNEFT announced the sale of tire business in Russia. The assets were bought by Tatneftekhiminfest Holding (acting as a coordination and expert center that determines the strategy for the development of the oil and gas chemical complex of Tatarstan), which is not part of the Tatneft group. The value of the transaction was not disclosed.

Under the terms of the agreement, TATNEFTEKHIMINFEST HOLDING, TATNEFT sells shares in OOO UK TATNEFT-Neftekhim, OOO Nizhnekamsk Truck Tire Plant and OOO Trading House KAMA, as well as shares in Nizhnekamskshin, Nizhnekamsk Mechanical Plant and Yarpolymermash-Tatneft. Some companies will be renamed after the closure of the transaction.

In the context of significant changes in the economic situation, including those caused by geopolitical processes, the sale of tire business will allow TATNEFT Group to concentrate on key strategic projects, the company explained.

They also added that the cooperation of TATNEFT with the enterprises of the tire complex in the Russian Federation, including the supply of raw materials, will continue on a commercial basis, taking into account the obligations previously assumed by the company. TATNEFT promises to maintain its obligations to employees, as well as personnel and social obligations. The governing bodies resigned.

In addition to the enterprises of the tire complex of Russia, TATNEFT is also implementing, within the framework of a joint venture between KamaTyresKZ LLP and Allyur Group of Companies JSC, a project for the construction of a tire production plant in the city of Sarani, Karaganda region in Kazakhstan. As the company explained to TASS, this project was not included in the perimeter of the deal to sell the tire business.

The tire business of TATNEFT accounted for about 22% of the Russian car tire market. By 2023, the company planned to increase the production of Viatti tires to 7.4 million units, TsMK tires - to 2.8 million units per year.[2]
