Oki Data Corporation is founded in 1994. The company - child division of Oki Electric Industry Company Limited company.

History

ODC conducts development, researches, production and release on the market of business solutions for printing more than in 120 countries of the world. ODC creates 15% of turnover of all Oki group, separating sales volume into Europe (45%), the USA (30%), Asia (20%) and 5% for other equipment manufacturers under OEM-agreements.

2015: Completion of the transaction of acquisition of Seiko I Infotech Inc

On October 6, 2015 the OKI Data Corporation company announced completion of the transaction on acquisition of business of production of the engineering systems of printing of a wide format of Seiko I Infotech Inc company.

OKI Data Corporation acquired all shares Seiko I Infotech Inc. also founded OKI Data Infotech Corporation company.

The new company since October 1, 2015 works as the member of OKI Group. All affiliated enterprises OKI Data Corporation in Europe and the USA already completed purchase of business of large-format printing and assets of Seiko I Infotech Inc. in these regions. For October 6, 2015 OKI Data Infotech Corporation controls activities for production and service of all large-format Seiko I Infotech Inc printers.
