OKI Europe Limited is affiliated enterprise of OKI Data corporation (OKI Data Corporation), producer of products for the professional intra office business printing, applications and services created for the purpose of increase in business performance "today and tomorrow". The range of products of OKI Europe includes six different segments: full-color and monochrome printers, multi-function printers in whom functions of printing, copying, scanning and the fax and also serial matrix printers, faxes and specialized POS printers are united. Founded in 1990, OKI Europe includes about 1000 employees, 21 offices on sales and manufacturing enterprises and is provided in 60 countries in EMEA region.

The brand has representations in 23 European countries, and performs activity in 60 countries of the region of EMEA. The first representation in this region was created in 1984 in Düsseldorf, Germany. Afterwards the OKI Europe company provided a set of new products of the industry, creating itself the strong reputation based on the high quality and technologies changing the market.

Affiliate program

Shinrai is the corporate program of support of the authorized partners of OKI Europe Ltd. Under the terms of the program the authorized partner should execute not only the annual, but also quarter purchase plan, support the minimum warehouse on products and supplies and to have the certified managers on products of OKI.

Necessary condition of authorization of partners of OKI is passing by the staff of the company applying for authorization, not less than 3 courses of free training in Academy of the producer. The staff of integrator constantly improves skills in the field of pre-sale consulting, planned and corrective maintenance and also warranty and post warranty repair of the equipment of vendor.

History

2019: Tsukasa Takasava is appointed the managing director of OKI Europe

The OKI Europe Ltd company announced on November 25, 2019 that Tsukasa Takasava is appointed the managing director of the company. He released Danny Kavakhar from this duty. Read more here.

2017: Change of the managing director

In December, 2017 the OKI Europe company appointed Danny K. Kavakhara the managing director. He succeeded Terry Kavashima who, in turn, held the CEO's post on international sales of foreign bank terminals in Tokyo. Read more here.

2016 financial year

Consolidated revenues of OKI Europe Ltd, according to the estimates of IDC, were 122% higher than an indicator of 2015. In general, according to IDC, at the end of 2016 the market grew by 10% in comparison with previous year. The general market share occupied by the company increased to 1.8%. In a segment of printers of A3 format which in general grew by 3% the share of OKI printers makes 29%. Besides, OKI was succeeded to increase a share among color laser printers which print with a speed of 21-30 p./min. and 45-69 p./min. — up to 23% and up to 29% respectively.

One more direction in which indicators of OKI increased — monochrome printers and the MFP with a print speed of 31-44 p./min. The number of the sold printers in 2016 increased by 2.5 times, the MFP — by 6 times.

"The last three years really were not the best for our company, but I would like to note several good points today. One of them is progress which was made thanks to the Russian office and sales of polygraphic printers and large-format devices. Russia takes in these segments the leading position in Europe, the Middle East and Africa. 1995-2013

Important dates in the 30-year history OKI Europe:

  • 1995: OKIPage 4w — the smallest printer in the world with the basis size equal to paper of A4 format

  • 1998: OKIPage 8c is the first digital LED color printer of OKI company with a print speed twice more, than at the competing models; start of the program of authorization of partners of OKI in Russia which received the name Shinrai (trust, confidence, reliability)

  • 1999: OKIFAX5750/5950 is the first-ever device for the fax delivery on the Internet in real time

  • 2003: OKI C5000 series is an innovative line of color printers for the small working groups

  • 2004: OKI C3000 series providing to the European users access to fast and inexpensive color desktop print

  • 2005: The C5500 MFP is the first-ever color multi-function printer of A4 format

  • 2006: C8600 — the smallest and the most available at the price in Europe a color printer of A3 format, twice less and cheaper than the competing models

  • 2009: The OKI Europe company for the first time in the industry provided the standard three-year guarantee

  • 2012: C711WT and C920WT — the first-ever LED printers for digital printing using a white toner

  • 2013: release in sale of ES9541, the industry-first digital LED 5-colored printer of A3 format, and then — the OKI MB700/MC700 MFP with the built-in open platform for document flow improvement. and also the solutions Smart Managed Document Solutions, programs of the managed printing services from OKI Europe company.

1980-1990

By the end of the 1980th years functional and reliable serial shock and matrix (SIDM) printers were the most widespread and popular technology of printing. Nevertheless, the growing need for high-speed, silent, letter quality printers for new generation of users was also obviously observed. The OKI company satisfied this requirement, having put on the market in the European market the first LED desktop office printers: OL400 and OL800.

In 1990 acquisition of Technitron company, one of the largest European international distributors, became the defining moment for an organization structure of the company in EMEA, stimulirovav growth of business in the region and having laid the foundation of today's OKI Europe.

Thanks to acquisition of Technitron with groups of sales in seven countries (Great Britain, Ireland, Holland, Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Italy together with Germany) the OKI Europe group expanded the geography and trebled the sales volume of printers in the region.
