2022: Agreement with ER-Telecom Holding for the development of the agricultural sector

March 17, 2022 ER-Telecom Holding"" (TM "Дом.ру") Omsk state and agrarian university named after P.A. Stolypin (Omsk GAU) signed a cooperation agreement.

The document is created for realization of actions for attraction of investments in economikuomsky area and implementation of new projects in the territory of the region.

Our company takes an active part in the development of the region, including the agricultural sector, which is one of the priority areas in the Russian Federation. In January 2022, together with scientific organizations of the Omsk region, a pilot project was launched to create a network of agrometeostations, which will allow scientists to more accurately track the impact of climate and scientific developments on crops in the zone of risky agriculture, "commented Stanislav Darienko, interregional director of Western Siberia JSC ER-Telecom Holding.

Omsk GAU takes part in this project as a partner and expert, supporting the proposals of ER-Telecom, and plans to include joint high-tech developments in the student training program, to contribute to their implementation in practice.

Also, ER-Telecom and Omsk GAU are discussing the possibility of implementing a joint project to create a carbon landfill - territories with a special ecosystem, which allows for a number of important studies in the field of ecology, including the development and testing of carbon balance control technologies.

Our university is one of the first in Russia to create a carbon landfill and has already received significant results in terms of technologies for implementing climate projects in agriculture and forestry, methods for ground and remote monitoring of CO2 emissions and sequestration. As part of the development of digital competencies of students, we have already included in the educational process the use of data from the ER-Telecom agromethios network. We are ready to move on, and cooperation with ER-Telecom opens up new opportunities for this - commented the rector of Omsk GAU, Professor Shumakova Oksana Viktorovna.
