"Open Medical Communications" is a remote education project for doctors, uniting about 100 thousand doctors of various specialties. OMK specializes in the organization of interactive distance education programs as part of the development of the concept of continuing medical education.

History

2021: Acquisition of 51% stake in Open Medical Communications by Doctis

Telemedicine service "Doctis" will begin to train doctors. This became known on October 18, 2021.

The partner in the implementation of the project will be Open Medical Communications LLC, the developer of interactive educational programs. Doctis acquires 51% of its shares. Together, the companies will expand the boundaries of the Doctis medical ecosystem.

The success of Doctis is based on an integrated approach: online consultations of doctors, partnership with the network of private clinics of Mother and Child Group of Companies, patient trust and the use of remote monitoring technologies. The service already helps consulting specialists conduct telemedicine practice, providing its technical support.

As of October 2021, Doctis takes such support to a different level: the company is starting to develop its own online educational platform for doctors. It will allow doctors to receive continuous additional education. The platform will also give access to online events, conferences and a library of materials. Doctors will be able to take advanced training courses and receive certificates.

We believe that additional education is the key to quality medicine. The world of technology gives doctors the opportunity to solve difficult problems of diagnosis and treatment, so it is so important to provide doctors with the tools necessary for this, "explained Mark Kurzer, founder of the Doctis service, academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences, a well-known obstetrician-gynecologist.
