The biochemical holding "Orgkhim" (Nizhny Novgorod) created in 2001 works in the development area and production of pitches and emulsifiers for production of synthetic rubber and also on the volume of extraction of pine crude turpentine and production of rosin.

Production capacities of holding are located in Nizhny Novgorod (Uren), Voronezh areas and in Krasnoyarsk Krai. Business of Orgkhim company can be separated into two main directions: petrochemical and timber-chemical. Main products of wood chemistry are emulsifiers for synthetic rubbers, gloss oil pitches for the tire industry, rosin air for road construction, production adhesive and paints and varnishes and also the pine oils which are applied in perfumery, cleaning means and the mining industry.

Five companies are a part of holding. It is management company TD Orgkhim Ltd, production companies JSC PO Orgkhim and Siberian LHZ Ltd, the transport company Orgkhimspetstrans LLC, Russky katalizator Ltd company which is engaged in research and development and also the Orquim Brasil Exstracoes de Resinas LTDA mining company located in Brazil.

Orgkhim makes the world-class products made for 90% of domestic raw materials. Orgkhim rightfully can be called the world leader of scientific research in the field of cancerogenic security. A number of provisions of the European legislation setting restrictions on the content of cancerogenic substances in different materials (REACH) is based on results of the researches conducted with participation of staff of the research center of Orgkhim. In May, 2016 the Orgkhim holding which is among world leaders of wood chemistry is recognized by the best in area of environmental and production safety International association Pine Chemicals Association, Inc.
