History
According to IDG, the company was the first in the American publishing business to conclude an agreement on publications in the USSR. This happened in 1987. In 1988, the issue of PC World magazine began under the license of PC World, owned by the American International Data Group.
Since 1996, the founder and publisher of the magazine was ZAO Open Systems Publishing House.
The target audience was a wide range of PC users - from highly professional employees of large corporations to home computer owners.
The magazine was distributed by editorial subscription, subscription to the directories "Press of Russia," "Rospechat," through specialized mailings, sale at distribution points of specialized computer literature.
As of April 2012, editorial staff included:

In 2016, the magazine was closed for financial reasons. The website of the publication also stopped updates.
