Mastercard, ALIOTH and MKB released payment rings

The Moscow credit bank, Alioth and Mastercard released in November, 2017 the first payment ring for holders of cards of MasterCard in Russia.  To pay purchase, it is enough to concern a ring of the terminal supporting contactless MasterCard technology – in shops, in the subway, at movie theaters, etc. – it is accepted by more than 7 million marketplaces in 107 countries of the world including in Russia.

Payment rings of MKB – completely domestic product. The technological solution is developed by PayRing based on the SCOne operating system of ALIOTH company. The ring is made of shock-resistant waterproof ceramics and it is provided in several design solutions and flowers (black, white, blue, green, red, pink and the combined options). At the request of the client incrustation by jewelry stones is possible.

Upon purchases over 1000 rubles will be required the PIN code. At loss – it is enough to address to bank for blocking of a ring, at the same time the holder can continue to use the bank card. In the first quarter 2018 clients of Individual banking of MKB then payment rings will be offered a wide range of clients of bank will be able to estimate advantages of an accessory.

Rings for contactless payment with functions of the card Three should be available for sale in the second half of October, 2017. A manufacturer of payment rings is  the PayRing company. The functionality of a payment ring will be similar with the transport card Three. Journey can be paid everywhere where Three works: in the subway, MTsK and land transport.

Rings work thanks to the NFC modules which are built in them, similar subjects which are built in payment plastic cards but with the special configuration allowing to achieve necessary for placement in jewel, compactness. The PayRing company developed payment rings which it allows to make payment on contactless terminals and online using number of a ring and the special code. The company holds the patent for the exclusive rights to the device in Russia.
