2024: Opening of the hospital, 5 billion rubles spent on it

Perm A new regional clinical infectious diseases hospital has officially opened in, the construction of which cost the budget ₽5 billion. The opening of the hospital, which took place on August 7, 2024, was held by the president Russia Vladimir Putin via videoconference.

The new hospital, located on Leonova Street, is a modern medical complex with an area of ​ ​ 30 thousand square meters, which includes three buildings with their own infrastructure. The medical facility is designed for 232 beds and includes a clinic capable of receiving up to 80 patients per shift. If necessary, the number of places in the hospital can be increased to 360, and in intensive care - from 12 to 32.

The hospital is equipped with advanced logistics and safety technologies, including a "smart" ventilation system with oxygen supply, electronic control of the movement of patients and staff, as well as pneumatic mail. Especially to reduce the risk of nosocomial infections, 16 separate patient flows and 10 reception boxes were organized, two of which are intended for patients with suspected especially dangerous infections.

The Governor of the Perm Territory Dmitry Makhonin stressed that the hospital has created all the conditions for the comfortable work of medical personnel and high-quality treatment of patients. In addition, the Department of Infectious Diseases of the PSMU named after Wagner will function on the basis of the hospital, which will make it possible to train personnel directly on the spot - from training sessions to practice.[1]

2022: Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin allocated 1 billion rubles to update the hospital

At the end of April 2022, Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin signed a decree approving the allocation of 1 billion rubles for the renovation of the Perm Infectious Diseases Hospital, built at the end of the 19th century.

According to the project, the new building (the main building of the clinic) will be designed for 232 beds and equipped with modern medical equipment. The institution is being built in the Industrial District of Perm on the street. Cosmonaut Leonov, 84, on a site of more than 64 thousand square meters. m. The construction of the facility is carried out by ZhBK-Stroy LLC (structure of Krasnokamsky ZhBK). The total cost of the project is estimated at 2.1 billion rubles, Kommersant reports.

Its technical condition does not meet modern standards and requirements, it is impossible to organize high-tech treatment and comfortable conditions for patients there, the government website says.

The Governor of the Perm Territory Dmitry Makhonin in his Telegram channel reports that by the beginning of May 2022, the installation of the frame of the economic building is 70% complete, and within a month the contractor plans to begin laying the external walls and internal partitions, and begin the construction of floors.[2]
