2025: Building a Company
In the Perm Territory, the Perm River Shipping Company JSC was created to develop river traffic and restore the region's shipping fleet. The corresponding entry is entered in the register of legal entities. The decree on the creation of the company was signed by Governor Dmitry Makhonin on November 13, 2025. According to Kommersant, the company was created jointly with the Perm Territory Development Corporation. The authorized capital of the shipping company is ₽15,6 million. The authorized executive body exercising shareholder rights on behalf of the region has determined the regional ministry of transport. The Ministry of Transport will coordinate the activities of the shipping company and monitor the implementation of the tasks. The management structure involves the creation of a board of directors and the appointment of a general director for operational management of the enterprise.
The regional ministry of transport explained that the enterprise will have two types of activities - passenger and freight water transport. Already in navigation in 2026, the Perm River Shipping Company will begin transportation along the Perm - Ust-Kachka route, along which the new Kolva high-speed boat will run.
This is a pilot project of a water taxi. In addition to the work of routes, the company will be engaged in the maintenance and maintenance of mooring infrastructure in the Kama region.
