Planeta.ru is one of the first collective project financing services in Runet.
More than 2,500 projects worth more than 250 million rubles were financed on the Planet. Creative categories are actively developing: music, cinema, theater, journalism. Ideas in the fields of social entrepreneurship and innovation are very popular. The site has about 400,000 registered users.
In addition to crowdfunding, Planeta develops other services: online broadcasts, an online store and creates its own content. "Planet" sets itself the goal of teaching people to implement and monetize their ideas and projects.
Winner of the RUNET PRIZE 2014 in the nomination "Economics, Business and Investments."

- Documentary film by E. Pogrebizhskaya "Case of Andreeva" - 3,344,540 rubles
- Visiting service of the children's hospice of the Vera Foundation - 2,887,168 rubles
- The new cartoon by G. Bardin "Three Melodies" - 2 243 681 rubles, the premiere took place in November 2013
Many famous people who have already made a significant contribution to Russian culture and social life are conducting or have already completed their projects on the Planet: Boris Grebenshchikov, Harry Bardin, Evgeny Grishkovets, Viktor Shenderovich, Vladimir Mirzoev, Oleg Kuvaev, Tutta Larsen, Alexander Voitsekhovsky, Artemy Troitsky, Liubov Arkus, Mikhail Segal, Sergey Parkhomenko, Olga Dykhovichnaya, Ilya Varlamov, Avlamov, avka, Avinoramov Boris Akimov dozens of musical groups (BI-2, Accident, Lyapis Trubetskoy, Pyotr Nalich, Animal JaZZ, Underwood, Picnic, Kalinov Most, Lounge, King and Jester, etc.), journalists from the Colta.ru project, Rolling Stone magazine, Corpus publishing houses, Zakharov, Dodosaurus, Artdokfest and 2morrow festivals, Dozhd Theater, many others.
Planet also works closely with charitable foundations and projects, providing them with a new, convenient, additional tool to raise the necessary funds. For them, we created a separate category "Charity." Planet does not take its service fee from charitable projects.
Planet is actively working with development institutions such as HSE, SKOLKOVO, business incubators, all kinds of festivals, charitable foundations, dozens of various organizations.
On April 7, 2015, Planeta.ru launched its own educational program, the Crowdfunding School. School teachers are leading experts of Russian crowdfunding, Planet employees and authors of successful projects implemented thanks to public funding. As a result of the course, students who have attended all classes receive diplomas from graduates of the Crowdfunding School and a ready-made system for planning and implementing a crowdfunding campaign.
