History
2021: Epam bought PolSource
In May 2021, Epam announced the purchase of PolSource. The deal is scheduled to close in the second fiscal quarter. It must first be approved by regulators.
Under the terms of the agreement, a team of PolSource executives and hundreds of Salesforce product specialists will move to Epam. At the close of the transaction, Epam will pay PolSource for the acquisition of the company $111.8 million. Epam can also pay up to $45 million, depending on the financial performance of the company sold. Thus, the total transaction amount will be up to $157 million.
In addition, Epam reserved for management PolSource "restricted stock unit" in the amount of $12.8 million and additional RSU $2.2 million, the payment of which will depend on the achievement of certain goals by the company being acquired.
According to the press release, the PolSource expertise covers the Salesforce Customer 360 platform (including Sales, Service, Marketing and Commerce solutions) and Salesforce key projects in areas such as artificial intelligence, data analysis, integration, mobile technologies and user interface.[1]
