2025: Launch of an updated clinic for 1.2 billion rubles
PJSC Nizhnekamskneftekhim, part of the Sibur holding, completed a comprehensive modernization of the corporate polyclinic worth ₽1,2 billion, increasing its throughput from 450 to 600 visitors per shift and equipping 98 units of new medical equipment. The updated medical institution will be able to serve 15 thousand employees of the enterprise and residents of Nizhnekamsk, gaining access to modern diagnostic and medical technologies. The reconstruction project was implemented from 2023 to 2025. This became known on September 1, 2025.
According to RBC, the medical institution was built in 1976-1977 and opened in 1978, which required a radical update of infrastructure and technical equipment. Modernization has become part of a large-scale program for the development of industrial medicine "Sibura" in Tatarstan with a total cost of ₽1,5 billion.
The general director of the Sibur holding, Mikhail Karisalov, announced the creation of health centers in industrial zones from 2022 not only in Tatarstan, but also in the Nizhny Novgorod region, Tobolsk and Svobodny. He stressed that industrial medicine is a necessity for representatives of the petrochemical industry.
As part of the reconstruction, new specialized departments were opened, including endoscopic and X-ray with a mammograph. The chief physician of the polyclinic, Aleksei Polyakov, noted the installation of modern diagnostic equipment: a computed tomograph, a mammograph and ultrasound devices of an expert class.
Polyakov announced the creation of a closed cycle of medical examinations and medical examination, including the possibility of endoscopic examinations under anesthesia and equipping with four dental chairs. The medical institution works according to the systems of compulsory and voluntary medical insurance.[1]
