2020: TATA Consultancy Services (TCS) купила Postbank Systems

On November 9, 2020 the Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) IT company, largest in India, announced purchase of "subsidiary" of Deutsche Bank — Postbank Systems. The financial component of the transaction which is going to be closed until the end of the year is not revealed. At first regulators should approve the transaction.

Postbank Systems provides Deutsche Bank of the IT service. The company is based in Germany, in it about 1500 employees work.

Under the terms of the agreement, TCS will purchase 100% of Postbank Systems. Thereby the Indian company expects to strengthen positions in the German market.

By November 9, 2020 Deutsche Bank is the acting client of TCS and uses the software of Bancs developed by the partner.

TCS said that Postbank Systems purchase the company strengthens cooperation with Deutsche Bank that will help bank to accelerate digital transformatsiyum, and to the Indian IT giant — to catch specific opportunities in the bank industry.

Affirms that this transaction will not overset plans of Deutsche Bank for updating of the technology platform. Moreover, Postbank Systems sale as are sure of bank, will promote that the effect of digital transformation expected in 120 million euros will occur earlier, than was predicted. The bank started the large-scale project on updating of the IT infrastructure in July, 2019.[1]
