RFID is a RFID system integrator of solutions and the developer of the special software for radio frequency identification. Is a part of IMTs of Vega Concern. The company develops, integrates and coordinates the business solutions using RFID technology.

Activities

One of the areas of work of the RFID Center are the system researches directed to optimization of interaction of RFID systems with the different existing management systems for the enterprises and production processes.

Besides, optimization of architecture of RFID systems for achievement of effective work of components of a system of different producers is performed. In addition to design of RFID systems, RFID is engaged in modeling production and business processes in which use of technology of radio frequency identification, for the purpose of efficiency evaluation and optimization of proposed solutions is supposed.

RFID tests both the RFID systems of different level of complexity, and their components. The main objectives of the RFID Center when carrying out such tests are: identification of compatibility of the equipment made by different producers, refining of functional characteristics and operating parameters of devices and devices of radio frequency identification for the purpose of the optimal choice of technical solution which in the best way corresponds to requirements of specific application of RFID.

The policy of the RFID center for development of technology of radio frequency identification is based on use of international standards. Since 2008 JSC IMTs of Concern Vega is a member of the non-profit international organization of AIM/UNISCAN, and since 2009 - the member of association of automatic identification EPCglobal. In this regard key tasks of the RFID Center are development of optimal scenarios of use of technology of radio frequency identification and EPC in different industries, trade and health care according to the existing international and national standards and also implementation of the last scientific and technical achievements in the field of automatic identification in existing production or trade logistical cycles.

History

RFID was formed in 2008 based on department of radio frequency identification of JSC IMTs of Concern Vega, and in the subsequent the trademark of RFID was registered.

The technology of radio frequency identification (RFID) finds more and more broad application, supplementing or even replacing technology of shaped coding. These technologies of automatic identification are integrated by one: they allow to achieve performance improvement and reliability of information input in the electronic systems for its postprocessing.

Despite positive world experience of implementation of RFID solutions in rather broad spectrum of areas of life activity, in Russia until recently (October, 2011) the RFID technology was implemented extremely seldom. With respect thereto, JSC IMTs of Concern Vega made the decision on creation of the center of design of complex systems of radio frequency identification and provision of services on their implementation and technical support which would allow to resolve gradually existing problems of implementation of RFID technology and to help the enterprises to reach benefits which as shows world experience, are shown as a result of use of new technology.

Expansion of availability of technology of radio frequency identification in the Russian market and ensuring dissemination of information on importance and convenience of automatic identification on the basis of the radio-frequency systems was a main objective of creation of the RFID Center.
