RSAIP (Russian State Academy of Intellectual Property)

The Russian State Academy of Intellectual Property (RSAIP) is the state educational organization which trains specialists in the field of creation, management, legal protection and commercial use of intellectual property items.

History

1994

The academy received the status of public educational institution of higher professional training on the basis of the order of the Government of the Russian Federation of 9/26/94 No. 1542-r.

RGAIS is created by conversion of the following legal entities:

• The central institute of advanced training of workers and specialists of the national economy in the field of patent work of Committee on affairs of inventions and opening at Council of Ministers of the USSR.
• The All-Russian institute of retraining and advanced training of the personnel in the field of an industrial property (VIPK)
• Institute of an industrial property and innovatics (IPSIN)
• All-Russian institute of an industrial property and innovatics (VIPSI)
• Russian Institute of Intellectual Property (RIIP)
• Russian state institute of intellectual property
• Public educational institution of higher professional training
