Today RadioTel is the Russian operator of professional communication of the TETRA standard on geography and number of subscribers. The company performs development and deployment of solutions based on the TETRA standard of design before provision of services of a professional radio communication, including system integration and creation of specialized hardware-software complexes.

History

2006

In 2006 RadioTel Ltd was a part of Tetrasvyaz group that strengthened positions of the company in the market and gave additional opportunities for implementation of large-scale telecommunication projects. Among achievements of Tetrasvyaz group there is an experience of the organization of interdepartmental interaction and provision of services of a radio communication based on resources of professional communication of TETRA on large social and political actions (the celebration of the 300 anniversary of St. Petersburg, summit G8 in St. Petersburg, the celebration of the 65 anniversary of the Victory in Moscow and St. Petersburg, the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum) and successful project implementation on development of TETRA network in the large Russian cities and regions – Moscow and the Moscow region, St. Petersburg and the Leningrad Region, Nizhny Novgorod, Kursk, Tver, Chuvashia, etc.

2011

Among the main achievements – completion of construction of the joint network of a radio communication of the TETRA standard in Primorsky Krai. The uniqueness of this project consists that it was implemented on the terms of public-private partnership. The TETRA network in Primorsky Krai integrates 2 segments: federal (the state customer - Rossvyaz), created within preparation for the APEC summit - 2012, and investment. In the end of the year network in Primorsky Krai and also network in the Nizhny Novgorod and Vladimir regions were successfully brought into commercial operation.

The most large-scale project of RadioTel company - TETRA network in Krasnodar Krai for the Olympic Games-2014 – comes to final implementation phase. In 2011 the company precisely according to the schedule completed the second stage of construction and started the third within which 21 base stations of the TETRA standard in a zone of direct location of Olympic venues are under construction. Construction of the base station at record height - 2,125 meters above sea level became a bright event of the third stage. The first deliveries of the domestic equipment of TETRA-GLONASS which will be used for security of guests and participants during the Olympic Games are successfully made.

2012

In 2012 RadioTel is going to complete project implementation in full and to carry out complex balancing and commissioning on all objects of network. Participation in construction and start of base stations of 3G networks in the Moscow, Bryansk and Belgorod regions became the new perspective direction of business of the company.

2014

Successful project implementation on construction in Sochi of objects of mobile communication of such operators as Rostelecom, VimpelCom, MTS and "Tele2".
