Now "the Relcom of Khosta" is the modern, meeting all requirements hosting company representing to clients all range of telematic services. Since 2016 Relkomkhost LLC is accredited registration of domain names in the Russian network segment the Internet.

History

Relcom (engl. Relcom, reduction from Reliable Communications — "reliable communications") — the first Soviet and Russian computer network which creation can be connected with emergence of the Internet in the USSR and further emergence, so-called Runet.

Relcom. Business Network is a successor of JSC Relcom created in 1992. Then, together with MNIOPK People, the EUnet-Relcom network through which got Internet access not only many Russian cities, but also practically all former Soviet republics was officially registered in the pan-European network EUnet (then only Estonia had the exit to the West). And the vast majority of net surfers of that time EUnet-Relcom had domain names in a zone . SU; only the Baltic States, Ukraine and Belarus used already since the beginning of the 90th national TLD.

From the very beginning the Relcom undertook support on DNS of geographical domains in a zone. SU, and then and. RU on a grant basis. In process of development of the Internet in Russia and neighboring countries the most part of geographical domains was delegated afterwards to territorial subjects of the federation, however their rather large number continued to be serviced by Relcom on a voluntary basis up to March, 2010.
