Representation in Russia

The Russian operator of satellite communication of Romantis LLC was founded in 2007 and for short term could take strong positions in the market of telecommunication services of Russia and the CIS countries as one of the leading distributors of tanks of geostationary satellites.

Romantis LLC is a part of the international Romantis group and is engaged in providing in lease of satellite capacity in the ranges of C and Ku and also design of communication satellite networks of different function.

Romantis is also engaged in design, production and sale of the innovation product UHP (Universal Hardware Platform), being a general distributor of products of the Russian producer Istar LLC. Offers Romantis broadcasters services of own HD/SD DVB of the platforms including the central infrastructure and a satellite resource, and to telecom operators and corporate clients – a possibility of use of infrastructure of VSAT network on the VNO model, without initial investments into the equipment.

2017: The communication satellite of new generation of Intelsat 33e EpicNG is put into operation

Romantis announced at the beginning of a year successful transfer of the existing networks from the Intelsat 904 satellite on the new Intelsat 33e EpicNG satellite which was put into operation in orbital position 60 ° by EL on January 29, 2017. It is the second device of new generation of Intelsat company from a series of the innovation satellites of high capacity (HTS) created on the digital EpicNG platform, and the first – with the territory of a scope of Russia.

Along with a traditional wide beam it is supplied with the multibeam antenna of Ku-range providing the power of EIIM to 60 dBW and a wide covering of the countries of Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Asia. At the expense of powerful narrow beams operators will be able significantly to save on the used band, and inexpensive small-size terminals will provide many times higher capacity in comparison with the operating networks.

"For Romantis company of Intelsat 33e is already the third satellite in position 60 gr. EL to which we transfer the networks for the last 25 years", – the CEO Romantis Belyaev Dmitry noted. – "On the new satellite the unique digital array which allows to switch dynamically carrier signals between numerous beams in very wide service area is set. Having set one VSAT hub for the Intelsat 33e satellite, the operator receives the platform for business in any corner of Eurasia, connecting those beams which will be required today to this infrastructure. If it is necessary to change a business model of the project or location of rendering service, the used resource of the satellite can be quickly switched to any other beam".

Thanks to an open and flexible architecture the Intelsat EpicNG platform provides compatibility with the existing networks and also opens possibilities for implementation and development of the innovation products of a new class: high-performance VSAT networks with easily expanded geography, networks of collecting of news of SNG with a possibility of transfer of HD content from the ultra-compact station, trunk channels of high capacity, networks of distribution of regional television with characteristics of DTH broadcasting.
