History
2025: Sale of the Veles Hotel to the owner of the Sitivet and Pride veterinary clinics
The owner of the St. Petersburg veterinary clinics "Sitivet" and "Pride" Alexei Klyavin acquired the building of the park-hotel "Veles" in Moscow. Experts estimate the value of the transaction at ₽0,9 -1.2 billion. This was announced by Kommersant on October 20, 2025. Read more here.
2017
In 2017, the Faculty of Engineering and Technology was founded. The RosNOU School of Human Rights Defenders: Learn and Act project was supported by the Presidential Grants Fund. RosNEU and the Investigative Committee entered into a cooperation agreement.
2014
In 2014, RosNEU was admitted to the International Association for Ranking Organizations and Universities IREG Observatory. The Moscow Tax Institute joins RosNEU.
2012
In 2012, RosNOU begins admission to budget places.
2011
In 2011, RosNOU opened its own training center - the Veles Park Hotel.
2006
In 2006, RosNEU was awarded the Order of Labor Valor.
2004
In 2004, RosNEU opened its own student dormitory.
2001
In 2001, the RosNOU College was founded.
1999
In 1999, Sergey Petrovich Kapitsa became the supervisor of RosNOU. The Faculty of Information Systems and Computer Technology was founded.
1998
In 1998, the Faculty of Psychology and Pedagogy and the Faculty of Humanitarian Technologies were founded.
1995
In 1995, the Faculty of Economics, Management and Finance and the Faculty of Business Technology were formed.
1992
In 1992, the Faculty of Law was formed.
1991
In 1991, the Russian Independent Open University (RosNEU) was founded, in 2015 it was renamed the Russian New University (RosNEU).
