ROY International

In July, 1988 American company ROY International Consultancy, Inc. opened the Moscow representative office as the first system integrator in the territory of the Soviet Union.

Delivery to the USSR of 250 personal computers based on the most modern at that time processors Intel 80386 became the first large-scale project of the company.

The Roy international Konsaltansi company selected the policy promotion of the latest high-tech solutions, including on implementation of mechanical (M-CAD) and electric (E-CAD) CAD.

In 1990 the partnership agreement with ComputerVision company was signed and the status of the official representative and only partner of Cadence company in the territory of the Soviet Union is received. The electronic, automobile and aviation industries of the Soviet Union met new solutions of a CAD with big enthusiasm. The first complexes were set at one of the world's largest plants on production of trucks – KAMAZ, in the centers of design of airplanes in. Zhukovsky and CB to them. At that time Roy international of Konsaltansi was almost only company advancing UNIX - the focused solutions. Our company first offered the Russian IT market a computer hardware of production of SUN Microsystems. The first official delivery of computers of SUN Microsystems to the USSR was performed to leading enterprise of the Ministry of electronic industry - to the Angstrem plant. At distribution in the territory of the Soviet Union of the workstations of SUN Microsystems working running the Solaris operating system before our company there was a problem of training for work in this operating system. From Murmansk to Vladivostok seminars and conferences at which specialists of Roy international of Konsaltansi told about advantages of the Solaris operating system and provided skills training were organized.

In 1993 the company received the purchase order of workstations of SUN Microsystems from the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation. In this project more than 120 computers were distributed among 50 main higher educational institutions of the country. Our company delivered the latest graphic workstations and provided training of staff of higher education institutions in work with this equipment.

The oil and gas industry - the most important part of the Russian economy. Successful performance of the oil and gas enterprises is impossible without application of the latest information technologies. Our cooperation with the oil and gas companies began since the beginning of the 90th years and continues till today. The foundation was laid by the fact that in 1993 under the agreement with Ministry of Fuel and Energy and the Central Geophysical Expedition our company executed a number of projects on equipping of the leading Russian geophysical organizations.

Creation of a uniform databank of geologic-geophysical information was one of the main objectives facing the Russian government. For the solution of this task the Central Geophysical Expedition and Roy international of Konsaltansi signed the agreement on creation of a databank. Being a partner of the leading developer of DBMS of Sybase Inc. company, our company delivered powerful servers running the software of Sybase. We organized trips of the Russian specialists abroad for demonstration of work of the similar centers, held seminars with participation of foreign specialists for the purpose of transfer of experience to their Russian colleagues. Our company supported development of the Russian software for processing and interpretation of seismic data, hydrodynamic modeling and GIS. Then we provided its transfer under the Solaris operating system and performed delivery of the developed software to China and India.

In 1994 the Roy international Konsaltansi company began the project on equipping of the processing center of one of the largest Russian geophysical enterprises - Tatneftegeofizika. The core of a system selected for the first time the SUN SPARCcenter 2000 supercomputer imported into Russia. As a result of the upgrade executed by us, the data processing center of seismic exploration of Tatneftegeofizika became the most powerful at that time in the territory of Russia.

1995 was mentioned by implementation of three large-scale projects within the American-Russian program of ecological projects for the Russian Federation signed by the Russian Prime Minister Chernomyrdin and the Vice President of the United States Gore: 1) The project on creation of a complex of information and analytical means on the organization of environmental control behind state of environment of Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug (BID 332). 2) Project on equipping of the center of environmental monitoring of Lake Baikal (BID 384). 3) Project on equipping of the center of environmental monitoring of Ministry of Fuel and Energy (BID 424).

1996-1999 Creation of the long-term relations with a number of big customers, as already in the industries mastered by us – processing, oil and gas, education, health care, and in the new rough developing industries of the Russian economy - finance, telecommunications, transport, etc. Among new customers such companies as MTS, bank "NIKoil", "Kombellga", East Siberian Railway, Bashneft appeared. In 2000 the Roy international of Konsaltansi becomes general system integrator "Tatneftegeofiziki" and performs the project on delivery, testing and start in commercial operation of the Russia's first superserver of Sun Enterprise 10000.

2001 - 2002 - The project on "turnkey" creation of the Udmurt regional bank of geologic-geophysical data is implemented.

The Roy international of Konsaltansi receives the status of the representative and exclusive distributor in Russia and the CIS from the producer of cluster RackSaver (Verari) computing systems. Besides, we receive the similar status from the American company Little Beaver, Inc. - leader in production of portable drilling rigs.

In 2003 the company receives the status of the official representative of WesternGeco on deliveries to Russia and the CIS of the software package OMEGA for data processing of seismic exploration 2D/3D. The same year we equipped own computer center of data processing of seismic exploration with the 2D/3D software package OMEGA, upgraded computer center of Slavneft company and created new computer center for Rosneft company based on the software package OMEGA. The Roy international of Konsaltansi becomes the partner of Bharti Telesoft company - the software maker for operators of mobile and fixed connection.

In 2004 the Roy international of Konsaltansi receives the status of the official representative of Roamware company in Russia and proposes new solutions for operators of mobile and fixed connection based on the software of production Roamware.

In 2005 the Competence Center on testing and certification of the software package OMEGA of production of WesternGeco based on different platforms is created (HP, SUN, Verari, IBM). The Roy international Konsaltansi company becomes the partner of Novell company and advances on the Russian market of information technologies the integration solution under the marketing name ROY Identity Switch providing integration within unified operating environment of management of accounts and applications of users.

In 2006 the Roy international of Konsaltansi in cooperation with IBM company opened the Demonstration Center of technologies of IBM intended for an illustration and testing of solutions for the enterprises of the oil and gas industry. Opening of the Demonstration Center of technologies of IBM for the oil and gas industry became the next step on providing an opportunity to customers from the oil and gas industry in creation of the integrated solution including picked up and tested program and the equipment, service support and consultations on further work during all lifecycle of the specific project.

On December 20, 2007 the Roy international Konsaltansi company was awarded with the decision of the Organizing committee of the International Forum "World Experience and Economy of Russia" the Awards "Presidential Star" for a big contribution to development of comprehensive effective communication of the government, business and civil society according to the approval in Russia of the principles of creation, morality and patriotism.

In 2008 20 years of a company performance of ROY Interneshln Konsaltansi in Russia and the CIS were performed. For these years the company passed a huge way, became one of the leading suppliers of complete solutions for upgrade of key industries of the Russian economy. 2010 - 2011 - ROY INTERNENSHL Konsaltansi becomes the participant of the program of Oracle Partner Network (OPN) and receives the highest status of the partner of Oracle company of the Platinum level.

For the purpose of further development with higher quality than rendering services the Roy international Konsaltansi company selected the direction of the activities for deliveries of software solutions of Oracle to separate structural division of the company.
