Rusfond (Russian Aid Fund)

Rusfond (Russian Aid Fund) is one of the charitable foundations of modern Russia, created in 1996 as a charitable journalistic project. There are 20 regional representative offices of the fund in Russia.

The mission of the foundation is to help treat seriously ill children and people with disabilities, promote the development of civil society and the introduction of high medical technologies.

The fund systematically publishes requests for help on the pages of the Kommersant newspaper and on the rusfond.ru, as well as on the information resources of 148 regional partner media. Since 2011, the television project "Rusfond on" First "has been developing; since 2013, regional branches of the All-Russian State Television and Radio Broadcasting Company have become partners of the fund.

In 2015, over seven million viewers and readers of Rusfond, 720 companies and organizations paid for treatment and legal assistance to 2596 children from Russia and the CIS countries, collecting and donating over 1.578 billion rubles. The Foundation organizes relief actions during the days of national disasters.
