History

2021: Launch of electronics plant for 600 million rubles

The LLC RusTelKom company (enters into Makro Group Group) gave official start to plant operation on production of electronic modules in the Obukhovo industrial zone of St. Petersburg. This was announced on September 15, 2021 by the Industrial Development Fund (ВЭБ.РФ Group), which provided RusTelCom with funds to organize production.

"The city needs smart investments. It is very important for us that enterprises create highly skilled and highly paid jobs. This is one of the conditions that we set for investors. The city will continue to do everything to attract investments useful to St. Petersburg, help in training personnel for high-tech industries, "said St. Petersburg Governor Alexander Beglov.

In a room with an area of ​ ​ 4 thousand square meters there are two high-speed surface installation lines, as well as two existing lines that have moved from a neighboring building. Due to the installed equipment, the total performance has tripled. It is assumed that annually the company will produce up to 500 thousand computing modules, up to 5 million controllers of smart meters or up to 10 million memory modules per year.

Total investments in the construction of the plant exceeded 600 million rubles. The company received almost half of this amount in the form of a preferential loan of 270 million rubles under the Components program from the State Industrial Development Fund.

"Of course, I want to thank the FRP. A preferential loan from the Industrial Development Fund for 270 million rubles allowed us to purchase the equipment necessary for the project, "said Dmitry Veleslavov, chairman of the board of directors of Macro Group Group.

As of September 2021, according to the company, the share of foreign electronic modules for electronic electronics in the Russian market exceeds 50%. They are mainly imported from China, as well as from Poland, the Czech Republic, Finland and Romania. It is expected that the implementation of the project will reduce dependence on electronics products of foreign production.

The company specializes in the production of complex expensive products for applications critical to equipment failure - industrial automation, supercomputers, telecommunications and auto electronics. The electronics produced at the plant are used in personal computers, supercomputers, servers, data storage systems, cash and banking terminals, power sources, medical equipment, gas, water and electricity meters.

The company will create 76 new high-performance jobs within two years.

2001: Land acquisition in St. Petersburg

1991: Establishment of RusTelCom

On October 3, 1991, a group of specialists created a company, later called CJSC Russian Telephone Company (CJSC RusTelCom).
