2024: Co-owners of Russian Funds detained in major fraud case
On June 24, 2024, it became known that co-owners of the Russian Funds investment group Sergei Vasiliev and Konstantin Beyrit were detained in Moscow. They are suspected of fraud on an especially large scale (part 4 of article 159 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation). Read more here.
2022: Purchase of the Istra-Khleboprodukt complex for 888 million rubles
In April 2022, Russian Funds acquired the Istra-Khleboprodukt complex in the Moscow region for 888 million rubles. The buyer was LLC IS-2, which is part of the Russian Funds investment group. 2019: Revocation of license from NPF "Coal"
In December 2019, the Bank of Russia revoked the license from the NPF of coal industry workers (NPF Ugol), which was owned by the Russian Funds group of Sergei Vasiliev. This fund was managed by RFC Capital, which was part of Russian Funds. RFC Capital was caught manipulating the market using funds from the Russian Pension Fund.
The corporate fund of VEB Vnesheconombond, Pension-Invest, Social World and Support employees also remained in the ownership of the Russian funds.
