2026: Dismissal of a doctor and midwife after the death of a woman in labor and a child in a maternity hospital

The Moscow Department of Health dismissed the doctor and midwife after the death of a woman in labor and a child at the Yudin City Clinical Hospital. The department carried out an internal check on the fact of the tragedy and took appropriate measures. The cause of the tragedy was an incorrect assessment of the severity of the patient's condition and violation of the protocols for the provision of assistance. The materials of the internal investigation were transferred to law enforcement agencies to assess the actions of the medical staff.
