SETERE (Security Technology Research) was founded in 2008 by specialists in information security and system and application software development.

The company offers comprehensive supplies of software and equipment from Russian and foreign manufacturers from the SETERE STORE solutions catalog, including those for GOZ.

Products

As of December 2021, SETERE has several of its own products for Russian users:

• ISU Terminal PC is a software package "Integrated Secure Access Terminal Management System" based on OCAstra Linux for rapid deployment of remote workstations in the organization.
• SETERE OCR is an optical text recognition system designed to convert scanned documents, PDF documents and image files, including digital photos.

Services

For December 2021, SETERE offers the following services:

• "Affordable Linux" - within the framework of the "Affordable Linux" project, assistance is provided to Russian users, software and equipment manufacturers on the adaptation and compatibility of products to work on Russian OS.
• Custom software development - rapid prototyping of information systems, high-load systems and complex integration projects. Development of system and application software compatible with Russian Linux operating systems.
• Information security - information security consulting services, audit and risk assessment, project management for the supply and implementation of information security solutions.
• Import substitution - assistance in planning and implementing the migration of infrastructures of organizations and enterprises to Russian operating systems, adaptation of their existing system and application software, as well as comprehensive supplies of software and equipment from Russian and foreign manufacturers.
• Working with equipment - an audit of the readiness of various equipment (industrial PCs and servers, mobile PCs, etc.) for operation under the control of Russian OS and the necessary improvements in firmware and drivers.

2022

Appointment of Oleg Ivchenkov as CEO

One of the founders of SETERE, Oleg Nikolaevich Ivchenkov, who previously held the position of commercial director, from August 1 stood at the head of SETERE (TBI LLC). SETERE announced this on August 8, 2022. Read more here.

Partnership with Softline

SETERE has expanded its Softline portfolio with optical text recognition system SETERE OCR. Cooperation of companies will provide Russian organizations from different business segments with access to a solution for working with documents that meets the requirements and time trends, SETERE said on April 19, 2022.

2021: Partnership with Russian OS developers

In 2021, SETERE signed partnership agreements on commercial and technical cooperation with developers of Russian operational systems: Alt, Red Soft, Osnova.

2020: Products and Services

According to information for 2020, SETERE develops and implements integration systems and high-load solutions, implements projects for the migration of infrastructures of organizations and enterprises based on OS , Linux adapts system and application ON customers to work under Linux-based OS, provides comprehensive supplies of software and equipment the Russian and foreign manufacturers.

2018

In 2018, the company opened the Competence Center for Import Substitution in IT, launched the Program for supporting local software manufacturers and users "Affordable Linux" and the ASTRA STORE project - a catalog store of Russian software products, equipment and information services.

2016

Since 2016, the company has been a partner of Astra Linux GC (RusBITex) - it is engaged in the promotion and supply of OCAstra Linux, PC SV Brest and other products, including for GOZ.

2015

Since 2015, SETERE has been working with Russian operational systems and carrying out import substitution projects in IT.
