Smart Technologies, a provider of collaborative solutions, announced in spring 2012 support for Microsoft Lync 2010 in its Smart Meeting Pro software, as well as interactive whiteboards and Smart Board displays to enhance conference collaboration. With Microsoft Lync 2010 and Smart tools for visual collaboration, users can communicate with each other using audio and video communication features, as well as exchange information using interactive boards and Smart Board displays. Integration of these solutions allows participants in the conference room and remote users to exchange data from any applications, create notes in documents and record the ideas of other participants. Each user can participate in meetings without any restrictions, regardless of their location.
