Scientific Center for Family Health and Human Reproduction Problems

The Federal State Budgetary Scientific Institution "Scientific Center for Family Health and Human Reproduction" is the largest division of medical academic science in Eastern Siberia, whose activities are aimed at solving key problems of the medical and medical-biological profile.

History

2014: Renamed as Scientific Center for Family Health and Human Reproduction

On September 23, 2014, on the basis of Order of the FANO of Russia No. 528 of September 2, 2014, the FGBU "NC PSRCH" SB RAMS was renamed the Federal State Budgetary Scientific Institution "Scientific Center for Family Health and Human Reproduction."

2011

On December 19, 2011, on the basis of the Resolution of the Russian Academy of Medical Sciences No. 331 of November 23, 2011, the NC PSRCH SB RAMS was renamed the Federal State Budgetary Institution "Scientific Center for Family Health and Human Reproduction Problems" of the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Medical Sciences (FGBU NC PSRCH SB RAMS).

2009: Rebranded as Scientific Center for Family Health and Human Reproduction Problems SB RAMS

January 16, 2009 in accordance with the Order of the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Medical Sciences No. 96 of December 16, 2008 of the State Institution "Scientific Center for Medical Ecology of the East Siberian Scientific Center of the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Medical Sciences" (GU NC ME VSNC SO RAMS) renamed the Institution of the Russian Academy of Medical Sciences "Scientific Center for Family Health and Human Reproduction of the Siberian Branch of RAMS" (NC PSRCH SO RAMS)

1998: Reorganization and creation of the Scientific Center for Medical Ecology of the East Siberian Scientific Center SB RAMS

In accordance with the Order of the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Medical Sciences No. 9-P of June 15, 1998, on June 23, 1998, as a result of the reorganization of the Research Institute of Epidemiology and Microbiology of the All-Union Scientific Research Center for Medical Sciences and Human Ecology of the All-Union Scientific Research Center for Medical Ecology of the East Siberian Scientific Center of the Russian Academy of Medical Sciences.

1996: Renamed the Institute of Pediatrics and Human Reproduction of the East Siberian Scientific Center of the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Medical Sciences

On the basis of the Resolution of the Russian Academy of Medical Sciences No. 64 of April 17, 1996, the Institute of Pediatrics of the East Siberian Scientific Center of the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Medical Sciences was renamed the Institute of Pediatrics and Human Reproduction of the All-Russian National Research Center SB RAMS. To the main scientific areas, studies of the fundamental and clinical aspects of the preservation and development of reproductive health in the conditions of Eastern Siberia have been added.

1993: Branch openings

In 1993, the Institute of Pediatrics opened its branches in the cities of Ulan-Ude and Chita.

1989: Restructuring into the Institute of Pediatrics

In accordance with Order of the USSR Ministry of Health No. 864 of December 6, 1988, Order of the Siberian Branch of the USSR Academy of Medical Sciences of January 4, 1989 No. 1p, the Pediatrics Department of the Institute of Traumatology and Orthopedics of the East Siberian Branch of the USSR Academy of Medical Sciences was restructured into the Institute of Pediatrics. During the formation of the Institute, the main areas of scientific activity began to actively develop:

• studying the physiology and pathology of a growing organism taking into account the regional characteristics of Eastern Siberia, with the development of a forecast for the development of children and methods of managing their health;
• development and implementation of new methods for diagnosis, treatment and prevention of the most common childhood diseases in Eastern Siberia.

1987: The Department of Pediatrics was organized at the Institute of Traumatology and Orthopedics of the East Siberian Branch of the Siberian Branch of the Academy of Medical Sciences of the USSR

In 1987, on the basis of the Order of the Ministry of Health of the RSFSR No. 575 of April 23, 1987, the East Siberian branch of the Siberian Branch of the USSR Academy of Medical Sciences was created on the basis of three applied research institutes (Research Institute of Epidemiology and Microbiology, Research Institute of Traumatology and Orthopedics and Research Institute of Occupational Health and Occupational Diseases).

In the same year, on the basis of the Decree of the State Committee of the Council of Ministers of the USSR on Science and Technology (SCNT of the USSR) No. 176 of June 5, 1987 "On conducting additional research work in the field of medical science and health care" at the Institute of Traumatology and Orthopedics of the East Siberian Branch of the Siberian Branch of the USSR Academy of Medical Sciences (VSF SO AMN USSR) organized the Department of Pediatrics by Order No. 68 of July 10, 1987.
