History

2023: Opening of two new buildings

On October 12, 2023, it became known about the launch of two new buildings of the Federal State Budgetary Institution "Scientific Center of Neurology" in Moscow. The objects are located at 80 Volokolamskoye Shosse (pp. 2 and 3).

According to the Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Urban Planning Policy and Construction Andrei Bochkarev, a six-story clinical building with a total area of ​ ​ 13.3 thousand square meters. m is connected to the main building of the Center by an elevated passage. It houses the departments of restorative treatment, acute stroke, general neurology, resuscitation, intensive care, as well as the operating unit. In addition, there is a conference room and administrative offices. It is planned that lectures and practical classes of students of the Faculty of Fundamental Medicine of Moscow State University will be held in the clinical building.

It is noted that the second new building - in a two-story pathoanatomical building - housed archives of medical documentation and biopsy and autopsy materials, an electron microscopy room, a laboratory, a study room, administration rooms, doctors and researchers and other necessary premises. Earlier it was reported that the total area of ​ ​ two new buildings of the Scientific Center for Neurology will exceed 27 thousand square meters. m.

According to the chairman of Mosgosstroynadzor Igor Voistratenko, throughout all stages of construction on the Volokolamsk highway, Mosgosstroynadzor inspectors carried out 16 control and supervisory measures, to which specialists from the subordinate Center for Expertise were involved. Based on the results of the final inspection, a conclusion was drawn up on the compliance of the buildings with the project and a permit for commissioning was issued. Voistratenko added that on behalf of the mayor of the capital, Sergei Sobyanin, special attention is paid to the quality of work at healthcare facilities.[1]
