2024: Nationalization of the company

On October 17, 2024, the government of Sevastopol decided to transfer PJSC Sevastopolgaz to state ownership. The company has a temporary administration formed by the authorities. At the same time, as emphasized, nothing will change for the labor collective.

"PJSC" Sevastopolgaz "by the decision of the government passed into the state ownership of the city of Sevastopol. It was a difficult, long, painstaking job. It would not have been possible without the large volume of activities that the law enforcement unit conducted. It was proved - despite all the numerous tricks and attempts to confuse the traces - that PJSC Sevastopolgaz belonged to the Ukrainian oligarchs, "said the Governor of Sevastopol Mikhail Razvozhaev.

Sevastopol
nationalized the largest gas company Sevastopolgaz

He thanked for the assistance provided by the director of the FSBAlexander Bortnikov and the Prosecutor General of Russia Igor Krasnov, as well as all law enforcement officers who worked in Sevastopol and Crimea. The decree of the government of Sevastopol states that the property of the company, including land and real estate on the territory of Sevastopol, which by February 24, 2022 belonged to foreign states and their citizens who commit unfriendly actions against Russia, will be taken into account as the property of the city.

The return of the enterprise to state ownership involves an intensive solution to the issues of dogasification. In addition, the cost of maintenance of gas equipment is expected to be reduced. At the same time, the service scheme does not change for consumers: they do not need to go to the office to renegotiate contracts. Jobs in the company itself are also planned to be preserved: the staff of the enterprise as of October 2024 is about 1 thousand employees.[1]

2019

As of April 2019, PJSC Sevastopolgaz serves 1,450 km of gas networks. In addition, the company performs additional activities: distribution of natural, dry (stripped) gas through gas distribution networks, construction of utilities for gas supply, installation of heating systems and others.

2014

Since December 01, 2014, PJSC Sevastopolgaz has completely passed into the legislative field of the Russian Federation, becoming the Public Joint Stock Company for Gas Supply and Gasification Sevastopolgaz.
