One of the main factors that affected the decline in profits was the increase in interest payable. These expenses, formed mainly on loans and borrowings, increased 1.5 times - from ₽2,1 billion in 2023 to ₽3,3 billion in 2024. At the end of the reporting period, the share of borrowed funds with a floating interest rate amounted to 88.3% of the total loan portfolio of the enterprise.
According to published materials, the Seversky Pipe Plant in 2024 reduced investments in projects for the reconstruction and modernization of production by 8.2%, to ₽2,93 billion.
