This was stated by the head of the region during the summing up of the completed ski season.

According to TASS, the governor of the Kemerovo region Ilya Seredyuk confirmed the increase in the number of tourists compared to the previous season. The head of the region also noted that the season in 2025 will end earlier than usual, despite the fact that the snow cover is still preserved and tourists continue to come to the resort. It is planned to officially close the ski season.

The governor also presented long-term prospects for the development of the resort. According to him, by 2035 the flow in Sheregesh will grow 3 times. The regional authorities have already attracted ₽210 billion extra-budgetary investments and will create 13 thousand jobs.

The Sheregesh ski resort is one of the most popular in Siberia. Its development is included in the program of socio-economic development of Kuzbass until 2030, approved by Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin. This program provides for the comprehensive development of the resort's infrastructure, including the construction of new ski slopes, cable cars, hotels and service facilities.[1]
