Information Modeling Technology Development Agreement

On September 1, 2022, an agreement was signed on cooperation on the development of information modeling technologies between the private institution of Rosatom State Corporation OCCC, SiSoft Group JSC, SiSoftDevelopment JSC, SiSoft Development JSC and Nanosoft Development LLC. Read more here.

Engineering Software Development Plan together with CMNT

The development of engineering software for enterprises, petrochemical oil gas processing industry RUSSIAN FEDERATION and will be jointly engaged in the company "SeaSoft Development" (g.) Moscow and (New Technology Monitoring Center Moscow), between which the corresponding agreement has already been signed. The company SeaSoft announced this on May 17, 2022.

In the conditions anti-Russian sanctions and emerging risks of leaving the domestic market of foreign software developers, a situation arises in which enterprises of the industrial sector - countries refineries, GPZ and NHZ - may be left without the necessary engineering software. This could be another serious blow to the leading industry - the country's economy oil and gas, which cannot be allowed.

As you know, the United States included in the list of sanctions a ban on the supply of equipment and technologies to the Russian Federation, which until recently were widely used, including in domestic industry. This list also includes software, which, according to experts, can cause serious problems. Copying software solutions produced by the United States will entail a violation of license agreements.

SiSoft Development (CSoft) and CMNT LLC expressed their readiness to cooperate in order to close the industry's needs for high-quality analog IT solutions and provide industry enterprises with qualified software to solve substantive planning and optimization problems.

I am confident that combining the efforts of the Russian software developer CSoft and the research company CMNT, which has experience in scientific research in the subject area, will help enterprises in the industrial sector maintain the achieved level of efficiency using the domestic version, - said Alexander Zuikov, CMNT Engineering Director.

As of May 2022, there are 37 large oil refineries (refineries) in Russia, while before the imposition of sanctions, only 2 vendors supplied software for them: AspenTech, which specializes in services for the oil and gas industry, and Honeywell, a manufacturer of electronic control and automation systems. Until recently, there were no domestic solutions that would cover the needs of industry on the Russian market.

IndustrialCS Platform (Refinery) is a Russian software product that allows you to solve the problems of production planning and optimization of the operation of refineries and petrochemical production facilities. It is a joint project of CMNT and SiSoft Development, "said Alexander Vorotnikov, head of the CSoft digitalization department.

The main task of the program is resource planning and calculation of the optimal version of the production plan, which corresponds to the maximum margin, taking into account restrictions on the quality of commodity products. The applications of the IndustrialCS Platform (Refinery) system are different.

It is relevant for production organizations, allowing you to carry out economic optimization of volumetric planning of the enterprise's activities, organize strategic planning of its activities, and carry out business planning. The IndustrialCS Platform (Refinery) provides design organizations with the opportunity to conduct a technical and economic assessment of changes in the production and quality of commodity pools during the modernization or construction of new production facilities, as well as to assess the maximum potential for the production of petroleum products at the refinery.

The beta version of the IndustrialCS Platform (Refinery) program is expected to be released in the second half of 2022.
