The telecom operator Sibseti (Siberian Networks LLC) was founded in 2004 as a result of the merger of three providers into a single holding: Novosibirsk Novotelecom, Tomsk Tomtel and Kemerovo Good Line. Then the association allowed providers to optimize the costs of purchasing equipment and Internet traffic, as well as to create direct channels between cities and form the largest peer-to-peer network in Siberia.

As of June 2021, the company provides communications, broadband Internet access, IP telephony and digital television services. The company operates in 33 cities of 4 regions of Siberia: in the Novosibirsk and Kemerovo regions, Altai Territory and Krasnoyarsk Territory.

In the coverage of the Siberian Networks - 1.5 million households, the subscriber base has 300 thousand users. The company is one of the top three market leaders in the Novosibirsk region in terms of subscriber base and ranks first in terms of the number of subscribers among Novokuznetsk providers.

2021

Investment of more than 550 million rubles in infrastructure and service development

Independent telecom operators of Siberia Sibseti (Siberian Networks) on August 16, 2021 announced the investment of more than 550 million rubles in the development of infrastructure and service in 2021. The changes are reflected in the change of positioning and rebranding of the operator.

The provider's investments in the renewal and expansion of the network, the increase in the coverage area in Siberia in 2021 amount to 220 million rubles. By 2022, Sibseti plans to increase the number of active customers from 375 thousand to 390 thousand. The company also plans to increase the mounted capacity - the number of addresses at which the provider can connect subscribers - from 1.9 million to 2.15 million households in Siberia.

The increase in the size of the mounted network will occur, including due to a partnership with the federal provider TransTelecom, with which Sibseti has been working since 2019 using FVNO (Fixed Virtual Network Operator) technology. The goal of Sibsetei is to achieve the indicator of 400 thousand households in the direction of FVNO by the beginning of 2022.

The funds are used to expand its own network in key cities of presence - Novosibirsk, Kemerovo, Barnaul, Krasnoyarsk, Biysk, Novokuznetsk and other settlements in the Novosibirsk and Kemerovo regions, Altai and Krasnoyarsk territories.

Sibseti also connects new cities: this year, the operator Norkom (part of the Siberian Networks group) connected the city of Igarka in the Arctic of the Krasnoyarsk Territory, and plans include the connection of another polar city, Snezhnogorsk. By the end of the year, Sibseti intend to enter Khakassia (Abakan and Montenegrin).

Sibseti also invests 200 million rubles in expanding capacity and reserving communication channels for consumers, including in the B2B segment.

More than 130 million rubles were allocated in 2021 to modernize the IT infrastructure to improve existing and develop new services and resources for B2C and B2C users.

Since August 16, the company has opened access to social networks and instant messengers for private subscribers, even with a zero or negative balance. Users will be able to stay in touch if they have a payment problem - for example, missed the due date.

Rebranding

The independent telecom operator of Siberia Sibseti (Siberian Networks) on August 16, 2021 presented an updated brand. Updated visual concept once-worked design company ONY.

The updated brand of Siberian Networks has become simpler. At the same time, in the name and design, the company retained continuity to reflect its 17-year experience in the communications market. The provider shortened its name - now the brand will be called Sibseti. The logo has acquired a concise form of simple lines - this is a metaphor for the touch point, and it is reinforced by the "character" of the brand, the symbol of the connection between the client and the brand is a hand. The traditional blue color has been preserved in a more saturated "digital" hue, which cannot be reproduced on print, but which gives the feeling of a modern digital brand in an online environment. Blue color is supplemented by green, orange, yellow and raspberry.

Rebranding has become an external reflection of the company's movement from product-centric to customer-oriented - changes that have occurred and are taking place in the service and techno-logical areas of the provider's work.

2015: Siberian Networks and Norilsk Telecom unite

Siberian fixed Internet access operators, Siberian Networks and Norilsk Telecom, filed an application with the Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS) of Russia in May 2015 for approval of an asset merger transaction. Operators intend to work under a single brand "Siberian Networks," and the total subscriber base should be more than 300 thousand users.

2012: Connection of more than 60,000 subscribers

In 2012, Siberian Networks connected more than 60 thousand subscribers, put into operation their own networks in the cities of Mysky, Leninsk-Kuznetsk, Berezovsky, Novoaltaysk, Zarinsk. The operator continued the construction of its own fiber-optic communication lines in the cities of presence. By the number of subscribers and coverage area, Siberian Networks remains one of the leaders of telecommunications operators of the Siberian Federal District.
