History
2024: Deal with Stellantis to supply 250,000 vehicles over three years
In January 2024, it was announced that Stellantis NV would deliver 250,000 vehicles to Sixt SE in a deal struck after Europe's largest ride-hailing company scrapped the use of Tesla vehicles in its fleet.
The first deliveries under the multi-billion dollar order will begin in the first quarter. Over the next three years, the company will supply ICE vehicles, hybrid and electric vehicles for Sixt's rolling fleet throughout Europe and North America.
2023: Failure to deliver Tesla vehicles due to inability to resell them profitably after use
In December, Sixt said it would phase out Tesla vehicles as the manufacturer's heavy price cuts eroded used car prices - a key source of revenue for the company.
