As of August 2014, the company has more than 80 employees, the total project team exceeds 150 people.

History

The agency has been operating since 2008.

2013

In 2013 offices were opened in Krasnoyarsk and Krasnodar.

In 2013 The agency took 4th place in terms of business volumes in the financial rating of PR agencies conducted by RIA Rating and 6th place in the National Rating of Communication Companies.

Termination with Red Bull

In March 2013, an agreement was signed between the Social Media Agency and Red Bull to develop the Red Bull Mobile Reporter service based on the Social Communication Kit (SCK) platform, which the agency has been developing since 2012. The amount of the contract amounted to 767 thousand rubles with VAT. However, subsequently the companies did not agree on the terms of using the created product: Red Bull wanted to get the full SCK platform code, Social Networks were ready to give access to the service as a "boxed solution." The agency refused to comply with this requirement to prevent the product from being replicated. As a result, the contract was terminated, no payments were made under it.

Denis Terekhov, General Director of Social Networks:

"We saw the potential in the created product and suggested that it could be in demand in a wide market. Therefore, it was decided to incur losses under this agreement, but not to give anyone the code. However, during the work on the project, the Red Bull technical specialist was given full access to the resource for at least a week. Apparently, then the code and design were copied. "

2014: Court v Red Bull

On August 19, 2014, the Moscow Arbitration Court began a debate of the parties in the case of the theft by Red Bull of a software development Mobilereporter.ru owned by the Social Networks agency.

The conflict arose back in November 2013, when the specialists of the Agency "Social Networks" discovered on the Internet an exact copy of the Mobilereporter.ru project on one of the domains of the third level of the site Redbull.com. The parties failed to resolve the conflict in pre-trial order. Nevertheless, according to the agency, this story cost the post of PR director of Red Bull (Rus) Alexei Savishchev.

Commenting on the meeting in court, the general director of Social Networks Denis Terekhov noted:

"It is extremely regrettable that instead of finding ways to reconcile, Red Bull representatives are engaged in legal casuistry. In particular, today they agreed to the extent that redbull.com 's website, including its Russian-speaking segment, does not belong to them and they do not understand the essence of the claims at all. Apparently, the next logical step will be a statement that a cartoon man with wings who got drunk on an energy drink is to blame for everything. "
