Softool

Softool is the Russia's first full-scale exhibition devoted to information and communication technologies which is held since 1990.

Participants of Softool are developers and publishers of software, producers and distributors of a computer hardware.

Organizers

The organizer of an exhibition (for 2014) Association of software developers "Domestic Software". The action takes place with support:

• Ministry of Telecom and Mass Communications of the Russian Federation,
• Russian Academy of Sciences,
• Russian Federal Property Fund,
• Department of information technologies of the Government of Moscow.

History

2014: Consolidation on one platform with the RIW exhibition

On October 1, 2014 organizers of the RIW 2014 and Softool 2014 exhibitions signed the agreement on cooperation within which they the RIW 2014 2014 and the Softool exhibition are led on one platform.

It was announced that from November 12 to November 14, 2014 more than 150 exhibitors and 20,000 participants will be going to TsVK "Expocentre" in Moscow. The joint exposure of the RIW and Softool exhibitions will make more than 10,000 sq.m.

The coalition of two exhibitions promises to create synergy effect which will provide lighting of all spheres of the modern Russian IT industry. The sections of Softool including solutions in the field of local development and integration, export of IT products and services, the state applications and platforms for citizens, the information state, mobile applications and Big Data will add the subject of RIW 2014 focused on professional Internet business, media and telecommunications.
