History
2021: FAS fine 509 million rubles for cartel conspiracy
In July 2021, the Federal Antimonopoly Service imposed fines on the largest oil trader Solid - Commodity Markets and A-Oil, accusing them of cartel collusion in oil products exchange trading in 2018. Each of them must pay more than 509 million rubles, the FAS said.
According to the antimonopoly service, due to the actions of these two traders, prices for oil products were overstated on the St. Petersburg International Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange.
