Solovetsky Archipelago Conservation and Development Fund

The fund was created in order to preserve the spiritual, cultural, natural heritage and develop the infrastructure of the Solovetsky archipelago. Key tasks of the Fund: ensuring the implementation financings and reconstruction and to construction overhaul of the communal, engineering, transport and social infrastructures of the Solovetsky archipelago, as well as the preservation and restoration of objects of cultural heritage of peoples located on the archipelago; RUSSIAN FEDERATION providing comprehensive assistance in the preservation and development of the archipelago, its popularization, maintenance and development of its infrastructure; assistance in the field of preservation and restoration of cultural heritage objects (historical and cultural monuments), buildings, structures, objects, burial places in the archipelago that have historical, religious, cultural significance, their maintenance and protection, etc.
