2025: Polyclinic Opening
In December 2025, the building of a new polyclinic in the Southern Gate microdistrict was commissioned in Tomsk. The facility was built within the framework of the national project "Long and Active Life" and is intended to serve 20 thousand residents of this actively developing area. The construction of the clinic was carried out by the Construction and Installation Department of the Tomsk House-Building Company under a contract in the amount of 1.126 billion rubles.
The Governor of the Tomsk Region, Vladimir Mazur, said that 521 units of modern medical equipment were purchased for the institution, including a mammograph, fluorograph and X-ray apparatus. According to him, comfortable conditions have been created in the clinic both for the work of doctors and for getting help from patients.
The head of the health department of the Tomsk region, Robert Fidarov, informed that the purchases of equipment and furniture have been completed. The institution conducts final procedures for obtaining a sanitary and epidemiological conclusion and a license for medical activities. After that, the clinic will be able to receive patients.
Recruitment continues: staffing of doctors reached 82%, average medical staff - about 62%. The facility is designed for 400 visits per work shift, which will increase the availability of medical care for residents.
Previously, the opening was planned for 2023, but was postponed. During the direct line on December 16, 2025, the head of the region expressed confidence that the first patients will be able to contact the clinic at the beginning of 2026.
At the same time, the implementation of another significant project in the field of health care continues in Tomsk - the construction of a polyclinic in the Zelenye Gorki microdistrict. The contract for design and construction was concluded with YantarServiceBaltic from Kaliningrad in the amount of 936 million rubles. The work is scheduled to be completed by the summer of 2027.[1][2]
