Sputnik LLC is a startup founded in 2016 that is developing a mobile application of the same name for managing apartment buildings. The company develops an ecosystem that includes equipment management services (doorphones, cameras, barriers), financial services for paying periodic payments (housing and communal services, Internet, apartment cleaning), house chats for interacting with the management company and residents among themselves.

The founders of the project are Ildar Gayn, Ayrat Azizov, Vadim Gorbunov, Vasil Zakiev, Marat Yakupov and Andrei Pekh. The company conducts research with grant support from the Skolkovo Foundation.

History

2021: Raising 100 million rubles

In mid-July 2021, it became known about the attraction of Sputnik investments in the amount of 100 million rubles. The founders of the manufacturer of telecommunications equipment "РДП.ру" Sergey Nikulin and Nikolai Guzakov invested in the startup. As the representative of Sputnik explained to TAdviser, although РДП.ру is part of Rostelecom, startup technologies are not used in the products of the Russian telecommunications giant. Rostelecom, as well as Sputnik, develops smart doorphones. Most of the attracted investments will go to the development of a mobile application and an increase in production capacity, which, as expected in the company, will increase the turnover and margin of the Sputnik business, she said.
