The St. Petersburg Property Control Committee conducts a state policy in the field of control over the use and preservation of state property of St. Petersburg (with the exception of housing facilities), ensuring the inventory of non-residential facilities, as well as in the field of land relations in terms of ensuring the conduct of land inventory and inventory of public green spaces in St. Petersburg, land control in St. Petersburg, identification and prevention of unauthorized construction activities in St. Petersburg, as well as dismantling unauthorized buildings on the territory of St. Petersburg, and coordinates the activities of the executive bodies of state power of St. Petersburg in these areas.
History
2017: Renaming to St. Petersburg Property Control Committee
In accordance with the Decree of the Government of St. Petersburg dated 26.04.2017 No. 304 "On Amendments to the Decree of the Government of St. Petersburg dated 16.02.2015 No. 98, dated 23.03.2016 No. 207" State Inspectorate for Control over the Use of Real Estate Objects of St. Petersburg (State Inspectorate for Real Estate) has been renamed the Property Control Committee of St. Petersburg.
