History

2019: Opening together with LG Electronics of an educational class laboratory

On February 15, 2019 the LG Electronics company announced the beginning of long-term cooperation with the St. Petersburg State architectural and construction university and opens department of LG Academy, based for carrying out training programs and advanced training of specialists of the climatic industry, based on Teplogazosnabzheniye and Ventilation department (TGV). Classes will be given by leading specialists of LG and teachers of department.

According to the company, partnership with one of the Russian construction universities SPBGASU became logical continuation of own program of LG in Russia focused on increase in theoretical and practical qualification of personnel of the companies working in the field of management, design, installation and maintenance of the climatic systems. So since 2005 in Moscow "The academy of Conditioning and Energy-saving technologies of LG" based on which seminars and webinars concerning features of design of air conditioning systems, their installation and service are regularly held functions.

Consolidation of profile Russian higher education institution and manufacturing company of the climatic equipment will provide development and implementation of relevant programs of the basic and additional education. Thus, students will gain knowledge based not only on theoretical developments, but also on practical aspects of design, installation and service of the climatic systems on the example of real products from LG Electronics. In plans holding joint theoretical, practical and laboratory researches for students, joint research actions and creation of the demonstration platform of the advanced achievements in the field of the climatic equipment and the energy efficient engineering systems in construction. 2010

For June, 2010 7 faculties, Institute of advanced training and occupational retraining of specialists (IPK), 10 scientific and technical and education centers at the university, the training courses, five educational and computer centers, scientific and technical library, the museum of history and other structural divisions providing educational process and the scientific and innovation activity are a part of university. In SPBGASU more than 9000 students of all forms of education get an education.
