The main activity of GosNIIP JSC is scientific research and development in the field of natural and technical sciences. GosNIIP conducts research, development and production of automatic control systems and their functional devices for various objects military and civilian purposes.

History

2011: Reorganization into a Joint Stock Company

In 2011, the institute acquired the name Joint-Stock Company "State Research Institute of Instrument Making."

2007: Removal from the list of strategic enterprises

By decree of the President of the Russian Federation in February 2007, the Institute was excluded from the list of strategic enterprises.

2004: Inclusion in the list of strategic defense enterprises

FSUE "GosNIIPriborostroeniya" by Decree of the President of the Russian Federation No. 1009 of August 4, 2004 was included in the list of strategic defense enterprises.

1999: Reorganization into the Federal State Unitary Enterprise

Since 1999 - FSUE GosNIIPriborostroeniya (liquidated on February 24, 2011 through reorganization in the form of transformation).

1998: renaming to GosNIIPribor-building

Since 1998 - GosNIIPribor Engineering.

1964: Reorganisation at NIIP by amalgamation

In 1964, by combining NII-25 and OKB-12 (1st Yamsky Pole St.), the NIIP was formed. Work was carried out on missile preparation and launch test complexes, ICBM fuel flow control systems, inertial control systems, MC, ACS engines[1]

1955: Renamed to NII-25

In 1955, the institute was renamed into NII-25[2].

1943: Connection of laboratory No. 5 of LII on test equipment

On pr. No. 91c of February 12, 1943, the laboratory No. 5 of the LII for test equipment was transferred to NISO with all personnel and equipment. A flight laboratory was formed at the institute.

1942: Reorganization in NISO

On December 15, 1942, the Scientific Research Institute of Aircraft Equipment (NISO) of a wide profile was created on the basis of the NII-12.

1936: Renamed to NII-12

December 30, 1936 renamed to NII-12. It was a scientific center for the development of devices for the booming domestic aviation.

1933: Transformation into the Moscow Institute of Instrument Engineering

By order of the People's Commissariat of Heavy Industry of the USSR of November 10, 1933, No. 782 was transformed into the Moscow Institute of Instrument Engineering, assigned to enterprises of defense importance.

1931

Renaming as NTI VOTI

On September 26, 1931, the institute became the Scientific and Technical Institute of the All-Union Association of Precision Industry (NTI VOTI).

Foundation of the Institute

On January 1, 1931, by order No. 3 of the Office of the State Trust of Precision Mechanics, the Research Institute for Rationalization and Organization of Production (NII) was created with an experimental plant.
