When we carry out this work, the official opening will take place, but technically the terminal will already work, - said the head of the region during a direct line. |
The new terminal with an area of 5.9 thousand square meters. m is equipped with modern equipment. The building has two teletraps, escalators, and the gates are equipped with elevators. To improve the quality of passenger service, a multi-level baggage claim line with an integrated security system has been created.
According to forecasts of the administration of the Stavropol Territory, the implementation of the project will expand the geography of flights and increase passenger traffic from 800 thousand to 1 million people by 2030. To achieve these indicators, a large-scale reconstruction of the airfield infrastructure is planned.
The project to modernize the airfield part, including the renewal of the runway, is estimated at ₽5,7 billion.
