2025: Microfinance company Seimer bought 50% of Taxi Aggregator

At the end of November 2025, it became known that the microfinance company Seimer acquired a 50 percent stake in the digital service Taxi Aggregator, which is part of the Qiwi group. The value of the transaction at the time of its holding was not disclosed.

Taxi Aggregator is an online platform for drivers, couriers and taxi companies that allows you to solve a wide range of tasks: from instant calculations and efficiency analytics to the provision of legal support and motivation for employees. The use of an open program interface (API) allows you to eliminate the long verification procedure, which gives the driver the opportunity to instantly receive money earned on his bank card. The service automates the generation of reports and documents. An anti-fraud system has been implemented that provides financial protection for taxi companies.

The Taxi Aggregator website says that more than 2.6 thousand taxi companies and almost 390 thousand active drivers are connected to it. 18.1 million transactions were successfully processed. Control can be carried out through a web interface and a mobile application. In your personal account, you can view and download reports on trips, transactions and drivers.

According to Seimer, the deal will allow the company to enter new segments of the financial market, as well as significantly strengthen its position in the areas of fintech services and digital business solutions. The purchase is expected to contribute to the development of the client audience of the parent company Seimer and Euroalliance Bank, as well as provide technological support for the bank's new digital products.

Qiwi acquired 80% of Taxi Aggregator

As explained in Qiwi, the deal became part of the company's strategy to further develop the value proposition in the payment segment for the self-employed. The combination of Qiwi's experience and Taxi Aggregator platform software and established customer relationships will serve as the basis for the introduction of new value-added products aimed at moving from a "payment solution provider" to a "full-cycle taxi ecosystem," the press release said.

The taxi market is one of our key niches for the self-employed, which is growing rapidly due to the universal digitalization of payments and the rapid growth of taxi aggregators, mainly using non-cash payments, said Andrey Protopopov, head of the Qiwi group.
