History

2025: Blocking the site by a Moscow court

In mid-December 2025, it became known that the Moscow court blocked the website of the operator of the Technocenter data centers (tech.ru). This company provides services such as hosting and renting servers or racks, cloud services, protection against DDoS attacks, etc.

When trying to visit the site, a notification is displayed stating that access to the information resource is limited by the Federal Law of July 27, 2006 N149-FZ "On Information, Information Technologies and Information Protection." What the blocking is connected with is not specified.

Technocenter operates four independent data centers with a total area of ​ ​ more than 2000 square meters. According to the company itself, it serves more than 12 thousand clients, including 35 organizations representing large business. The staff includes about 200 highly qualified employees.

These are specially equipped buildings that comply with the Tier-III standard, provided with guaranteed power supply, fire extinguishing systems and located in a protected area. Admission to objects is carried out by special passes around the clock. The declared availability of the service reaches 99.982%; 24/7 qualified technical support is provided. Customer equipment shall be installed on the day of handling.^[1]
