Experimental Engineering Plant (EEP) of RSC Energia of S.P. Korolyov specializes in production of technical means of mastering of space, production of TNP, production of prosthetic and orthopedic products. Provides a full-size design cycle and productions of transport and cargo spaceships.

ZEM is included into Roskosmos state corporation as the child organization PJSC RSC Energia.

Activities

Activities of ZEM (data for October, 2020) — experimental and small-lot production of spacecrafts (including satellites), carrier rockets, upper stages, the equipment and equipment for space flights. The main customer of the enterprise — the Ministry of Defence of the Russian Federation.

2020

For 2020 the plant has the status of the city-forming enterprise. 7000 people work for ZEM.

1946

The plant works since 1946 in the city Korolyov (since 2001 — the science city), its history is directly connected with origin and development of the domestic space-rocket industry. On ZEM the technical base of the first flight of the person in space was prepared.
