2016: Creating

Special Forces "Thunder" was created in 2016 on the basis of the now liquidated Federal Drug Control Service (FSKN). After the abolition of the department, special forces became part of the main drug control department (GUNK), MINISTRY OF INTERNAL AFFAIRS Russia where it was used during anti-drug operations.
