2022: Anton Pinsky sold his stake in the Todasho sushi restaurant chain
At the end of November 2022, it became known about the release of businessman Anton Pinsky due to the ownership structure of the Todasho sushi restaurant chain. The entrepreneur sold a 33.33% stake in Resource-M LLC to the company itself. The remaining 66.77% belongs to the general director of the company Viktor Andreev, who previously managed a legal entity managing the Todasho restaurant in the Central Telegraph building in Moscow for 9 years.
The fact that Pinsky sold his stake in Todasho is written by Vedomosti with reference to the data of the SPARK-Interfax system. The general director of Infoline Analytics, Mikhail Burmistrov, estimated the cost of this share at 10-11.7 million rubles.
According to the newspaper, the alleged reason for the sale is an outdated concept of the project, Pinsky could lose interest in it. Restaurants of the Todasho format with Japanese cuisine from zero are morally outdated and require high-quality replacement, the entrepreneur himself admitted in 2021.
By the end of November 2022, only one restaurant with the name "Todasho" (on Pushkinskaya Square) remained in Moscow. The rest, after rebranding, became known as Nicepricecafe - a cafe with fixed prices for all dishes.
Anton Pinsky has been developing restaurant and club projects for more than 15 years. He is also a partner of restaurateur Arkady Novikov, together they opened dozens of projects in Russia and abroad. Earlier in 2022, Anton Pinsky, together with rapper Timati and the Sindika holding, owned by Senator Arsen Kanokov, became the new owners of the Starbucks chain in Russia, which was called Stars Coffee.
Pinsky is the founder of Pinsky & Co holding and the owner of more than a dozen restaurants in Moscow and other cities of Russia (Avocado Queen, Magadan, Syrovarnya, Sausage Shop, Vysota 5642), as well as in Spain, Turkey and the United Arab Emirates. In 2022, Pinsky was recognized as "Restaurateur of the Year" ("Palm Branch").[1]
